Terrapin Station by El Portal is a luxury pet-friendly Sedona vacation rental home in the 1930’s Monterey style in the historic heart of Sedona – an off-site bungalow of the El Portal Hotel. The bright, secluded bungalow sits on a historic neighbor road. Because it is in the best location, you can walk to shops, tours, restaurants, bars … all Sedona has to offer! Sit on the front porch and savor the rural life. Terrapin Station consists of a large living room,– modern kitchen, 1 bedroom with king bed, and an ADA compliant bathroom. Terrapin Station has an enclosed back yard and a wonderful outside fireplace to congregate around.
It is the only handicap-accessible short-term rental in Sedona. The backyard with fire pit is perfect for someone in a wheelchair and the kitchen has been lowered for easy access with a wheelchair-accessible entrance. We decided to go all the way when we built the special bathroom.

Hop on bikes to explore Sedona’s famed mountain biking, head uptown for a spa treatment, or wander through the many art galleries. Anniversary Getaway
We stayed in Terrapin Station cottage for the weekend. Best location and yet still off the beaten path. This one bedroom cabin has everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. Cozy, comfortable and clean. Private patio with fire pit is awesome. We will be back!
